here I am

We have had a not so great start to the new year. Last Thursday our sewer started making gurgling noises and then started backing up into the house...stinky, nasty, ick. Luckily we caught it before it got anywhere other than our laundry room, but even that small mess was pretty gross. We had a guy come out that afternoon and he got it all fixed. So now, only one week later I am stting here typing this with my winter gloves on :( Our boiler (hot water heater) has pretty much seen its last days. All week John has been fighting with it and now we are waiting for the heating guy top come have a look at it. Needless to say it is pretty darn cold in here. The last I checked it waws 53...brrr. It is almost as warm outside today as it is right now in our house. Not fun!!! So hopefully we can get this heat problem fixed without costing us an arm and a leg.
