Project Life: Jade Edition
If you are a fellow scrapbooker and use project life, I am sure you have heard all the exciting announcements about Project Life being on HSN next Monday!! If you haven't well then definitely save the date and read more about it on Becky's blog!!
As a part of the Project Life Creative team I was given the opportunity to create some sample pages using the amazing new Jade edition to be featured on HSN! Of course I jumped at the chance to work with this new kit!! I was super excited when the package arrived in the mail and opened it immediately...and then, I was super intimidated! As a 100% digital girl, the thought of using real scrapbook supplies again, was pretty nerve racking! It had been at least 5 years since I used "real" scrapbook supplies, and the thought of having to do my journaling in pen, well...it took me a little while to psych myself up to do it :P Once I got over my fears and got to work on the album, the whole thing came together in an afternoon! I still marvel at just how simple it is to work with Project Life! It makes memory keeping that much more fun and rewarding :D
I can not tell you enough how much I LOVE the Jade edition. It is versatile and colorful, you can definitely use this edition for SO many different themes! The album I put together showcases some of the hundreds of baseball photos I took of Dylan and his baseball team last year. True to my Project Life style I made each spread color coordinated, and I absolutely love the results!!
Love love love all the cards with cameras on them in this kit!
and a closer look at some of his baseball papers I included in one of the big pocket pages:
So there you have it. Super simple and documented. So happy to have these photos off my hard drive and into an album the family can look at time and time again :)
Make sure to save the date Monday March 25th, on HSN!!! I will be watching at 12:01, waiting to get one of these amazing kits of my very own! I can't wait to put together some more Project Life pages!!
