New 52 | Week 2

Every Tuesday night at our house is Family Game night, so this week the boys and I played a brand new card game, Scrabble Slam! I had picked it up as a stocking stuffer for Christmas and we never got around to playing. When I purchased it I thought it would be a fun and easy way for the boys to work on their spelling without really knowing they were doing "homework" ;)

They absolutely loved the game and wanted to play it again the next night!! Which is awesome!! They caught on quick and even won a few of the games :) Of course they loved adding in potty humor and making up words that aren't real words...

This game is a great addition to our favorite regulars we play. Sequence, Jenga, Sorry, and Battleship! Do you have a particular board game that is a family favorite? I would love to add more to our game closet throughout the year...
