2 years ago I took a chance. I went on a first date. It was your typical awkward first date with the usual questions and answers. A few moments of silence and shared laughs. I had not been on a date in almost 10 years so to say I was nervous beyond a doubt would be an understatement. How does a single mom do it? a single mom with 3 kids no less....

Well it turned out to be the best decision I have ever made. I can say now, 2 years later I am unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him. (yes, I did just quote Twilight!)   I don't know how I got so lucky, but I am thankful for him every single day!

For our first Anniversary I made him a photo book that documented our first year together:
