Top 12 of 2012

Going to interrupt my daily Project Life posts with a recap of my top 12 personal favorite layouts I created this year.

Multi photo layouts are still my favorite, and have pretty much always been very favorite! It all goes way back to my paper scrapbooking days and Becky Higgins sketches! This year is no exception, there is not one single photo layout in the bunch :)

Aiden at 2. A year of growing, changing, and just being a happy little boy:

*note to self: do more of these year in photos recap type layouts*

My boys & I and a few of the photos of us together from the first 1/2 of 2012:

Vacation photos from our summer of adventure in and around the great state of MI:

Some of my favorite photos of us:

(this kit by Audrey Neal was one of my very favorites this year!)

Documenting a day in the life with 12 photos on the 12th:

*too bad this was the only time I completed this monthly challenge...adding it to my 2013 to do list*

and here are some more multi-photo layouts, just not quite as many photos as the first batch!

A boy + the bath tub = a moment captured:

and a visit with Santa:

Mid way through 2012 I had a love affair with using super HUGE photos on my layouts and I still really love them!

A favorite day and some of my favorite photos of my boys:

Putting together our Project Life album this year has been the majority of my scrapbooking this year. I can definitely see a decrease in the number of digital scrapbook layouts I created, but I am happy to say I added 65 more to our family scrapbooks. I love this hobby and the opportunities I have had with design teams to keep me creating!!

  1. I love these! Can you tell me where you got several of these templates (or did you make them yourself)? I'm especially interested in the top square one, the Michigan one, the Give Thanks one, and the one you said was your favorite. Your pages are amazing!

  2. Heidi the top square one is not a template but it is a mask by Audrey Neal (retired), and I used it as you would a template! The Michigan one is a piece of paper by Robyn Meierotto (pixels & company), I just sized my photos to fit in the polaroid frames! The give thanks one is a template by Karla Dudley (pixels & company). The other layout, the one with my favorite kit is by Audrey Neal...who sadly retired her shop this year :(
