Project Life: Week 2
Unfortunately our house has been hit with a major sickness this week, so my project life pages are a little behind. Taking care of one boy, then getting it myself...it has made for a long miserable week. I can happily say I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am still slowly recovering, but at least now I can sit up and get a few things done around the house! Anywho...here is what our week looked like:
I noticed when pulling my photos together, they contained a lot of reds, so this title card was just perfect for my two page spread. I decided to coordinate the rest of the weeks journaling card in that same color combo and love the results! Most of the cards I used as is, but for a few I had to do some recoloring. To recolor the tags I tend to go with the paint bucket tool (I use PSE9). That way I can pick the color I want, and they match up exactly. There are so many ways to recolor digital elements though. Here is a helpful video Ali Edwards shared, where she talks a little bit more about recoloring. And Liz's tutorial on how to recolor press cards.
