What a day

I woke up yesterday thinking my birthday would be just any other day, a normal day.
John had a golf outing at 8am so when the boys and I got up, he was already gone. He left me the sweetest card though, it made me teary eyed!! We went about our normal morning routine. Then I cleaned the house a little, played with the boys, took a shower. And off I went to work. At work we had fall class preview, so they had tables set up for each teacher to show off their class. I had one set up for my altered board book class, but they never told me that I was supposed to sit there and work on my books. I was so excited to get paid to sit there and create more little book, but was bummed because I didn't have any supplies of my own. So I had to improvise and the the end results were the two little books on the left in the picture. One mini book for cat photos and another one for girls or wedding photos.

Dawn the Wilton Cake decorator was also previewing her class and when she found out it was my birthday she made me this adorable little cake, and suprised me with it!! It was so nicce of her, and the boys absolutely LOVED it!

When I got home from work, we went out to dinner at Red Devil, YUM!!

All in all it was a wonderful day, I couldn't have asked for more to celebrate my birthday!! Today we are celebrating with Melissa, Claude, and Judy. Having a Bar-B-Q and swimming in the pool, and loungin in the backyard. It should be lots of fun!!
